Description
The 1787 silver shilling of Great Britain was used widely in colonial Australia as a proclamation coin.
The obverse of the coin features the older laureate bust of King George III. The reverse depicts cruciform shields with coats of rams and cruciform crowns.
The variety featured here has small hearts in the far left shield on the reverse.
This silver shilling is in Extra Fine condition, and is a popular collector’s choice.
