Made by the Royal Australian Mint in late 1965, issued by the Reserve Bank Australia , and given to the drivers who delivered our new decimal coinage in late 1965 and early 1966 to banks all across Australia. It was a phenomenal effort. 70 drivers were chosen and each driver was presented with an individually named set. Of the 70 sets made, many were “spent” over the years and other lost forever. You may never see another set again in your lifetime! Coin are dated 1966 and are in nice uncirculated condition.
